Well actually, I added the standalone flash player, I dont know how else to add it.Īnyone know a solution? Id rather fix this through msi afterburner than turning off hardware acceleration. Im pretty sure I cant actually add youtube, that is why I tried adding flash player but it didnt work. It seems this is happening because I dont have youtube added to my RivaTuner Statistics Server Technology and so I cannot configure it to not go into 2d mode. If I disable "enable hardware acceleration" when right clicking on the youtube clip and going to settings, it then runs at power saving clocks and going to 3d clocks when I launch the game.Ģ. I tried a few things and narrowed it down to these:ġ.

So for some reason, its getting stuck in the 2d clocks even when a more demanding application is launced. If the card will still not idle the clocks correctly, please try to do a full. When I launch a game then, it goes to 3d clocks. check the Global 3D settings for the card in the Nvidia Control Panel. When I close youtube, it goes back to my power saving clocks. Then when I run a game, instead of going to 3d clocks, it stays at 2d. Doing so puts my graphics card to 2d clocks. I would advise against it as it could potentially damage your GPU not only from bad overclocking but also the fact it will be sustaining the clocks for a. The only way to fix this is to go into Device Management, disable, then re-enable. I sometimes want to leave a youtube clip running while playing games. Whenever I run the System Stability Test, if I enable the Stress GPU (s) option and then disable it, even after I disable the option to stop running the GPU test, my GPU stays stuck at a high clock speed (1005MHz instead of 324MHz at idle).
